              The PS-01C was able to carry bombs, missiles, gunpods, and armor upgrade systems on externally mounted hardpoints.  These hardpoints were located on the wings and chest of the craft.  There was one large hardpoint on the chest for the gunpod.  Each of the wing hardpoints was able to carry up to ten tons of ordinance. Normally three ASM-04G anti-ship cruise missiles were mounted on each wing on one triple hardpoint. The ASM-04G had a range of 3167 miles and were nuclear tipped as well as computer guided.

Description/Overview:
          The PS-01C Archangel II was not an upgrade of the PS-01A per se. It was essentially a whole new Protean fighter built from the frame up using the Goro Dei at Chi Orionis (and the Goro Duragal at Ross 47 to a lesser extent) at a higher technological level than the older PS-01A. While it was visually nearly identical to that of the PS-01A, the PS-01C used Prodono Republic technology, materials, and energy resistant armor. The reason for this was the intended mission of the PS-01C, that being for it to be able to go head-to-head with Prodono battlesuits like the Hai Richon (the most common type known to be used by Prodono forces). The PS-01C was a jointly developed mecha built by the Orion Theocratic Republic and the Prodono Androids using the Goro Dei factory at Chi Orionis and the Goro Duragal base at The Moon of Good Hope in the Ross 47 star system. Like the PF-05A, the PS-01C was also intended for use by the Prodono Androids using android pilots suitable for the machine in order to replace the obsolete Qonuen Tah Type-175112 Prodono Alliance era space fighter that was not up to the standards of even the Protean mecha of the Orion Theocratic Republic or other Terran stellar nations. As the Prodono Androids were now solidifying their alliance and intended merger with the Orion Theocratic Republic into the Galactic Free Republic in 2193 during the initial phases of the 2nd Interplanetary War, the PS-01C was created to begin integrating both forces of this new alliance. The PS-01C was intended to be a front line unit. Therefore, it was fitted with twelve--Orion built--Ion Plasma Fusion Engines giving the PS-01C considerable sublight speed for a fighter. It used a similar HVAC gunpod (Hyper Velocity AutoCannon) to that of the PF-05A, only with a larger capacity ammunition magazine and a housing suitable for mounting on the PS-01 style of fighter. It's array of missile launchers were all of Prodono manufacture and very similar to the missile laucnhers used by the Prodono Hai Richon. The defenses of the PS-01C were similar to those of the PS-01A only manufactured at Prodono Republic technology levels..
