Description/Overview:
         Little was known about the bulk of the Prodono Federation fleet force found in orbit around Chi Orionis. The fleet was more or less a junkyard of old Prodono and Varna wrecks when the Cosmo Dragoons found it in the late 2180s. Therefore, next to nothing is known about the Newel Xh'at Type-170110 save for the fact that it was an upgraded variant of the older Prodono Alliance Type-148944 of the ancient Prodono Alliance. The older Newel Xh'at was classified as a battleship built sometime during the Unification Wars around 350,000 BC. The Type-170110 verion of the Federation however was classified as a Heavy Cruiser some 19,000 years later. The Newel Xh'at Type-170110 was part of a massive upgrade program of a substantial portion of the Type-148944 fleet within at least the one hundred light-year area of space near Sol. That area may have only been one sector of Prodono space, and its capital may have been the Goro Yuradei found by Donaldson's Cosmo Dragoon Fleet. However, that was only speculation on the part of Doctor Donaldson. Whether this upgrade was for all Prodono vessels of the Newel Xh'at type or just a sector upgrade.
        The Newel Xh'at Type-17011 Heavy Cruisers found in the Chi Orionis star system were much younger than the Prodono Alliance versions. Most of the examples found had been heavily damaged due to the battle they had engaged in with the Varna type spacecraft around second moon of Chi Orionis Four where the Goro Dei was landed. The mining capability of said base allowed Doctor Donaldson's Cosmo Dragoon forces at the Goro Dei to repair and restore nearly all of the Prodono Newel Xh'at Type-17011 class ships. This large force of Heavy Cruisers comprised the bulk of the fighting ships of the Cosmo Dragoon Fleet.
