Description/Overview:

         It wasn't until the Earth year 2168 AD that the alien object L4-2135 was identified by class type after the discovery of the Prodono Battlefactory at Alpha Centauri and its fleet. The L-2135 object The Newel Kat Var class of Attack Cruiser was originally the Main Space Battleship of the Prodono Federation. Considerably less advanced than the ships found at Alpha Centauri, but more advanced than the fleet discovered in the late 2170s at Altair, the Newel Kat Var Type-170169 found near the LaGrange L-4 colonies appears to have been a transitional model from an earlier design that may have been part of the Prodono Consortium. Data on the Consortium is sketchy at best (as of AD 2188).
        The L4-2135 object remained in the care of the LaGrange Republics until it was stolen by a Neo-Hebrew special operations group in 2187 (Book 6 of Nexus Arcana). This group christened the ship "Good Fortune". The Good Fortune saw considerable use and action during the 2nd Interplanetary War of the 2190s and remained in service with the Neo-Hebrews throughout the war along with three other sister ships.
        The Newel Kat Var family of Attack Cruisers are the predecessors of the Quev Leah type of attack ship found at the Alpha Centauri depot in 2168.
