Description/Overview:
         Little is known about the bulk of the Prodono Alliance fleet, so next to nothing is known about the Jhon D'Kom Type-14901 other than it is an ancient pre-Prodono Galactic Republic (not to be confused with the much older Prodono Stellar Republic) Planetary Assault Ship that was built sometime during the Prodono Alliance (Galaxy-spanning political body that succeeded the Prodono Stellar Republic). The Jhon D'Kom Type-14901 was a mass produced Planetary Assault Ship armed with the standard triple-blaster beam cannons as its main weapon systems and triple-MASER beam cannons. This ionized particle beam turrets fired a graviton-guided bolts of Hadron-particles in a "bonded" into one spinning "rope-like" beam approximately ten-feet in front of the turret after being discharged from the emitters. This vortex effect made the Ion-Blaster beam very effective against most other fighting ships including the Republic ships used later. The microwave amplification by stimulated emission of radiation (MASER) beam turret fired a graviton-guided stream of rotating electromagnetic radiation that "bonded"--in a similar fashion to the Ion Blasters--into one spinning "rope-like" beam approximately ten-feet in front of the turret after being discharged from the emitters. This vortex effect made the MASER beam very effective against most other fighting ships including the Republic ships used later.
        The Jhon D'Kom Type-14901 Planetary Assault Ship encountered by the Earth-borne powers in the late 2180s were operated by Prodono android forces and were very old. Most had been in hibernation state with their nuclear-fusion reactors in a state of stasis (meaning nuclear material was separated and not active allowing for near infinite storage). The Prodono used an atomically unstable isotope of their own creation dubbed barrillium 455 by the Principality of Altair scientists who discovered the android fleet at Altair 6. This isotope was stored at absolute zero (in space) to slow down its degradation (half-life of about 1.5 million years, and a usable lifespan of approximately 550,000 years). The isotope, when combined with liquid Deuterium or Tritium within an electromagnetic super-criticality chamber, allows for gigawatt output levels in a compact nuclear-fusion reactor.
        The Jhon D'Kom Type-14901 Planetary Assault ship carried eight Kor Kai class Prodono dropships externally on the bottom the ship for easy deployment of gravity-tanks and APCs as well as early AGAR type mecha (encountered in the 2nd Interplanetary War). These eight dropships had full access to the Planetary Assault ship, however, the crews of each dropship normally lived on the dropship for the duration of a mission or patrol (which could be decades in Earth time). The Planetary Assault Ships of the Prodono Alliance served much like the ocean aircraft carriers of the 20th Century Earth powers, they were the flagships of the Prodono Alliance fleets and were vital during the succession wars that would ultimately lead to the Prodono Federation.
