Description/Overview:
            The culmination of everything learned from the previous Protean Fighters was incorporated into the first Protean Pursuit fighter. The fighter designation indicated a Protean mecha fitted with a faster than light drive giving it the ability to pursue an enemy that had attempted escape via hyperspace. The Tartarian Protean mecha engineers at Tyche had samples of all four of the Protean mecha built by the Neo-Hebrews of Saturn by AD 2178 and had fashioned the PP-DO335 from all of this data. They wanted a fighter capable of performing planetary assault missions like the PF-04U CosmoCorsair, general purpose space superiority like the PS-01 Archangel, interceptor capabilities like the PI-02 Raven, and heavy bombardment like the PA-03 Shinden. The PP-DO335 did in fact peform all of those missions adequately, albeit not quite as good as each of the Neo-Hebrew mecha. The Tartarians however wanted a single machine that could peform all of those tasks due to their limited resources and manufacturing capabilities in 2179. The PP-DO335 was a VERY successful Protean mecha and was used to great effect both in the Ross 47 conflict and the 2nd Interplanetary War. It was used for many years after the 2nd Interplanetary War into the 23rd Century.
