Overview of the Tartarian Technocracy

          Sometime prior to the conclusion of the 1st Interplanetary War, the elite council of the LaGrange Republics--an organization known as the Council on Stellar Relations (CSR)--began an alliance with Doctor Adrianne Donaldson's Cosmo Dragoon Fleet in AD 2187. However, the discovery of the Prodono Goro Duragal base at Ross 47 in AD 2192 caused a major shift in the plans of both Doctor Donaldson and Sovereign Grand Inspector General Khazar Rothschild. The purpose of the CSR had been purely of a diplomatic outward appearance, the Tartarian Technocracy however was nothing of the sort. It was the iron fist under the velvet glove and it had come off once Khazar was aware of the Prodono Goro Duragal being found by the Xanadu survey team. He knew that time was of the essense and that the thing hidden of that moon was far worse and far more important than the abandoned Prodono Goro Duragal. Khazar's Project Eden was located in the Ross 47 star system with the intent of taking control of the Prodono Goro Duragal and using it to build his new force of warships and Protean fighters. His vision was crew these new ships and mecha with his brood of genetically engineered Cosmonoids at the Xanadu colony. When the Golden Hinde discovered the Goro Duragal, his plans began to unravel.
          Quick to realize the gravity of the situtation, the Sovereign Grand Inspector General mobilized the forces he did have and launched a campaign to secure not only the Goro Duragal, but also the artifact found on the Moon of Good Hope. That artifact was coveted by Doctor Adrianne Donaldson as well, and a conflict of interest caused their alliance of 2187 to be shattered in 2192 when Khazar's forces stole the artifact from under her Cosmo Dragoon Special Forces's noses. The theft of this artifact, and the squirreling away of it to parts unknown, infuriated the Cosmo Dragoons (specifically Lt. Colonel Miranda Koontz). This led to a series of events that would culminate into the 2nd Interplanetary War. The attempt by the Cosmo Dragoons to retrieve the artifact from the Neo-Hebrew fleet near the Moon of Good Hope in 2192, also contriubted to the demise of the alliance between Khazar and Doctor Donaldson. Lt. Colonel Demowbray of the Cosmo Dragoons destroyed a sizable number of Tartarian warships, albeit of the older 2180s vintage fleet, during said battle without any regard for the crews or the vessels. The loss of this fleet due to Demowbray's actions solidified Sovereign Grand Inspector General Rothschild's resolve to defeat Donaldson and prevent her from obtaining the Goro Duragal or the alien artifact.
