Description/Overview:
           The Charlemagne was the culmination of the Ceres "Flash Gordon" type of spacecraft. It was the largest of the family of ships and the most advanced. Based on the Tirpitz class dreadnought, the Charlemagne class was upgraded with a secondary hull, new Super Luminal Velocity drives, and a new heavy beam cannon. Just like the other upgraded classes of Principality Vessels this class didn't see any action in either the Ross 47 conflict or the 2nd Interplanetary War. However, it, like the entire fleet of new Principality of Altair ships, disappeared in 2193 and didn't reappear until 2235. This was all part of Prince Dalltan's plan to compensate for the threat he predicted was coming.
