Description/Overview:
            As the Outer Sphere War rapidly came to its conclusion, and the Jovian Defense Forces fell apart as an alliance, the Neo-Hebrews of Saturn knew that had to fill the gaps being left by the departure of the Jupiter Federal Colonies from their combined fleets.  The Merrimack was the next refit/upgrade in this perpetual arms race with the constantly shifting and turbulent political landscape of the Local Group of stars.  The Merrimack class of frigate was a very simple refit (engines and weapons) whose main purpose was simply to arm this class of ships with KAISER beam weapons in order to nullify the advantage the Tartarian Star Empire had with their use of salvaged Prodono ships (of various eras).
