Overview of the Cosmo Dragoon Fleet

          The discovery of the Shemyaza in the 2150s during the Great War set into motion events that would alter human history forever. Among the first explorers to set foot on the remains of the ancient Solahdeen Mega-Grigori was Doctor Adrianne Donaldson of the United States Space Navy's Cybernetic Research Division. While it was assumed that her and her security team (USSN Special Operations Group Spectre Squadron) had been killed within the Heart-Shaped portion of the Shemyaza, the reality was that Donaldson had made contact with the alien intelligence and struck a deal. That bargain involved her and Spectre Squadron being transformed into Grigori (Solahdeen Super-Cyborgs) that would carry out the plans of the ancient alien intelligence that inhabited the Shemyaza (Daelthaneous). The plan was for her and her team to revive the Shemyaza first, then collect the highest quality specimens of Cosmonoids and create a new mankind from them.
          In the 2160s this plan involved members of the Council on Stellar Relations, UN Solar Empire chairman Charles Dalltan, much of the UN Space Corps, and members of the leaderships of the LaGrange Colonies and USSN military. This secret alliance became known as the Stygian Conspiracy. This conspiracy of collaborators were responsible for the creation of the Zaphner enhanced, 5th Generation of Cosmonoid, more commonly known as Methuseians. This plan was going swimmingly until UNSC Supreme Commander Alphonse Zhukov gave the Methuseians to General Walsh's Earth Federal Space Marines during the 2170s. Once the Methuseians were in their hands, Dr. Donaldson had to change tactics and use more desperate measures to implement the scheme that she and Daelthaneous had agreed upon. This caused her, and her ally at the time, Charles Dalltan, to engage in a widespread kidnapping campaign to acquire people from whom they chould harvest Zaphner and then revive the Shemyaza. This plan came to fruition in the 2180s during the Ceres Conflict allowing the Shemyaza to reconstitute much of its former self by absorbing the various Solahdeen ruins on Mars, Venus, and Ceres. The unexpected and unwelcomed interference in her plans by the Godahkeen Cybroth Hathaava found Doctor Donaldson and her Cosmo Dragoons (formerly Spectre Squadron) marooned in the Altair System near the seventh planet. It was here however that luck smiled upon Doctor Donaldson and her team. They discovered a relatively intact, but empty in terms of fuel, Goro Yuradei Prodono mobile citadel. The massive structure was a treasure worth her cutting ties with Charles Dalltan, and allying herself with the Prodono android force guarding this ancient alien structure.
          It was just prior to the Outer Sphere War that Dr. Donaldson made her strides--with the help of the Prodono Android Central Control--in building what would become the Cosmo Dragoon Fleet. With the Prodono Android Fleet acting as the muscle for her own, Doctor Donaldson prosecuted a campaign within the Outer Sphere War that was already underway. The Outer Sphere war was primarily being fought in the Ort Cloud of the Sol system, Alpha Centauri, and other star systems within ten light-years of Sol. The major antagonists were the Colonial Confederacy and Union of Solar Republics. The Planetary Alliance had attempted to stay out of the conflict, as did the Neo-Hebrews of Saturn, but due to the Principality of Altair and Council on Stellar Relations working behind the scenes, the Outer Sphere War engulphed all the major powers of Sol by AD 2186. During the late 2180s the Prodono Android force had decimated the Principality of Altair due to Prince Dalltan and Doctor Donaldson having a falling out after Charles was feed from Daelthaneous's control after he gained a Prodono Android boy. That split between Donaldson and Dalltan initially allowed Arianne to move to take over power of the Prodono Androids from Central Control. Prince Dalltan thwarted that scheme, causing the Prodono Androids to split from Adrianne's forces and then become the overseers of all of the stellar nations of mankind within fifty light-years of Sol.
          Despite the loss of the use of the Prodono Android fleet and its resources, Doctor Donaldson's Cosmo Dragoons Fleet was given a massive boost when the data found within the computer banks of the Goro Yuradei showed the location of numerous Goro Dei bases and even the Goro Duragal in the Ross 47 star system. Unfortunately for Doctor Donaldson her forces were not ready, due to a lack of fuel and personnel, until AD 2192 and the discovery of the Goro Duragal by the Planetary Alliance mining vessel Golden Hinde had already happened. Therefore, her Cosmo Dragoons were not able to secure the Goro Duragal at the Moon of Good Hope (R47-P6-M4). However, her forces had found a suitable Goro Dei in the Chi Orionis star system. The abandoned Goro Dei mining base was intact (like most of the Prodono bases within the Quarantine Zone around Sol) and surrounded by thousands of derlict spacecraft of both Prodono and Varna manufacture. Initially, Doctor Donaldson's Cosmo Dragoon forces were equipped with Prodono Android mecha such as the Prodono APC, tanks, and space fighter types. As the Goro Yuradei's systems came online, the manufacturing equipment of the Goro Dei at Chi Orionis was retooled (using the schematics from the Goro Yuradei) to build Prodono Hai Richon battlesuits of various types from the Republic to Imperial. Republic era AGARs and space fighters were put into production, but would not be ready in terms of having trained pilots until AD 2193. That meant that Donaldson's Cosmo Dragoons had to make due with what they had for much of AD 2192.
