Description/Overview:
           The success of the Type-001 Stealth Scout Ship built at the Council on Stellar Relations controlled LaGrange base at Tyche station in the Sol system in 2179 gave the greenlight for the creation of the DDC-01 Stealth Corvette. This vessel was built as the foundation of the CSR's 1st Alien Repulsor Fleet that Khazar had been planning to construct since the discovery of the Prodono Republic fleet in the Alpha Centauri star system during the 2160s. Unlike Admiral Bosch of the Earth Federal Republic, Charles Dalltan of the Ceres Regency, or Admiral Tofunai of the Jovian Defense Forces, Khazar's focus in the late 2170s and early 2180s was soley on the Prodono aliens. Even the interplanetary politics of the Sol system that had sparked the Ceres Conflict were not Khazar's priority. While he was aware of the dangers of the Shemyaza, it was little more than radioactive alien ruins in his mind, prior to the conclusion of the Ceres Conflict. It was the might of the Prodono Republic fleet against the "Ironclads" of the Solar Empire that had Khazar's full attention.
            Hence the DDC-01 corvette became a priority to build in large quantity as it would form the backbone of the fighting ships of the new fleet. The DDC-01 was very similar to the Type-001 Stealth Scout Ship and had the same engines, Intersection Drive units, shields, and even a similar Light Bending Shield generator. What the DDC-01 had that the Type-001 lacked were Protean fighters. At first these were conventional, but ater the introduction of the PI-H229 Protean Stealth Interceptor after 2188.
