                1 or 2 Basic Personnel modules (56.3 feet long x 32.5 feet wide x 33.5 feet high in a diamond shape) that are 40 tons each and have independent life-support systems, a nuclear battery with a one month emergency power supply (normal power is from CSS-01), and a one month food supply for passengers.  There is a recreation room (small 10 feet x 12 feet x 8 feet with two windows forward), a mess/chow hall (small 10 feet x 12 feet x 8 feet no windows), and 24 rooms (actually berths like on a train) which hold up to 6 personnel each (144 people total in cramped conditions).

Description/Overview:
         The UN CS-01 family of shuttles began as cargo shuttles for the UNSC in 2141 AD. These craft were used to transport large quantities of supplies and equipment throughout UN-controlled space within the Sol System. The CS-01 was then adapted into an assault shuttle during the UNSC’s attempt at gaining control of the Earth sphere during the 2150s.

Description/Overview:
            The AS-03 was larger than the Kentucky class ships used during the 2150s, but not quite as powerful. The AS-03 was better armed and faster than the Kentucky class assault shuttle, but lacked the defensive systems (nuclear dampeners) of the USSN attack shuttle.  Nevertheless, the Kentucky class ships of the US Space Navy were no match for this vessel when it paired up with AS-01, AS-02 or a combination of the smaller assault shuttles.   Normally a trio of assault shuttles would be used against squadrons of Kentucky class ships with the two AS-01/02s acting as interceptors while the AS-03 pounded their prey with its laser cannon turret.  This combination worked quite well until the USSN Juno class frigates were introduced in 2159.  By 2162 the dominance of the AS-03 was ended. The Juno was vastly superior to the AS-03. This forced the UN to begin development of the last ship they built for this family of craft, the AS-04.
