Description/Overview:
            The Centauri class was part of the emergency rearmament program that eventually lead into the Colonization efforts of the JDF.  The Centauri was basically the Rivadavia class battlecruiser only with Ion Plasma Fusion Engines in place of the main Ion engines and triple-PHELAC cannons in place of the older dual barrel types used by the UN.  The Centauri was used as a command ship for the Narvi class destroyers and Meteor class Landing Ship Tanks.  It was a modestly successful design that was produced until 2181 for the colony fleets.
