The classic RPG Grandia II for the dreamcast has slightly better graphics, sound, and a smoother game play than does its PS2 counterpart.
The Dreamcast is probably one of the most underrated of the late 90s gaming consoles.
Which is a pity because there were many excellent games for this console that are now somewhat forgotten by gamers who've "moved on" to the nex-gen game systems.
However, if you've got a Dreamcast and you want a fun game to kill some time or just adventure through a fun storyline, check out Grandia II

The Dreamcast was awesome. Ditto its predecessor, the Sega Saturn.
Grandia II on PS2 by all accounts was simply a weak port job.

I agree with both of you...I love my Dreamcast system! Grandia was awesome (especially the meowing and grring kitty), and even the cheesy horror title Carrier was extremely fun. Did anyone actually play Typing of the Dead with the keyboard, though?

I love the Dreamcast console.
I still play it now and then and since I have a boost disc I can play Japanese games on it quite easily.
A game that many people despise, but I am fond of, is Macross 3.
Here's the Japanese trailer for it.

The game play was rough, and the controls a little still, but the story is well worth it for any die-hard Macross fan.
Dreamcast is tough to beat, indeed. I only had a few games for mine but it was still wicked good fun.
I still adore my PS3 though *rubs tentatively*

I don't have a PS3.
I have to ask LadyWarrior to use her's if I want to play any games on it.
BTW, if you want to talk video games, she's your gal.

I don't know about that.
But I do know that I still have a working Atari 2600 and several games!
Nothing in the world is more frustrating than Missile Command or Space Invaders - you can't possiblly win!
The other one that drives me nuts is the Indiana Jones game. I remember my brother getting pretty far with it, but I have no idea how. The last time I tried to play the game, I only got a few screen into it. There is a ledge that Indiana is on on the left side of the screen and no matter what you try to do, you just fall to your death. What the hell? I was never able to figure out what to do to get past that screen.
I don't have a PS3.
Get to it then. There are next gen games that are most definitely worth playing.
I'm not his mother!
..... Oh. Sorry about that. I was always under the impression only a mother could have him whipped that much. sorry for the misunderstanding. XP Fufufufu

I enjoyed Space Invaders as a pastime when I was small, but I prefer more strategical or battle oriented games now.

I know I need to get my own PS3. :)
I do have an original Japanese NTSC-J playstation 2, and I do enjoy playing Japanese games on it.

PS 3 is much advanced than the PS 2 and it supports more the high efficiency games and we can play the latest games on it so it also supports online games.
