Description/Overview:
         The UN CS-01 family of shuttles began as cargo shuttles for the UNSC in 2041 AD. These craft were used to transport large quantities of supplies and equipment throughout UN-controlled space within the Sol System. The CS-01 was then adapted into an assault shuttle during the UNSC’s attempt at gaining control of the Earth sphere during the 2050s.
         The AS-03 was ten times as large as the Kentucky class ships used during the 2050s. The AS-03 was better armed and faster than the Kentucky class assault shuttle. The Kentucky class ships of the US SpaceNavy were no match for this vessel. However, the USSN Juno class frigates would change the AS-03s dominance in 2065 when the two types of craft met for the first time. The Juno was vastly superior to the AS-03. This forced the UN to begin development of the last ship they built for this family of craft, the AS-04.
         The AS-04 was introduced during the 1st Interplanetary War after considerable upgrades were made to the design in 2073, which made the craft the equivalent of the Arctic class. The CS-01 family of shuttles was produced from their introduction in 2041 up to 2120 and the end of the USSR (Union of Sovereign Stellar Republics).
